I don’t know why, but this session has been the hardest to sit down and write. I actually went on the walk and took photos a week ago from when I first sat down to write this blog post - I think it will have been 2 weeks by the time the post has been published. When I first read about this session I was excited, it reminded me of my Tarot Cards. Except instead of Tarot Cards, I was finding the Images through my camera.
I was recently talking to one of my Best Friends about the differences between Tarot Cards & Oracle Cards. Tarot Cards are much more structured then Oracle Cards, whereas Oracle Cards are much more freely formatted. I enjoy Tarot’s structure & I think this is why I am struggling with this exercise so much. It’s not structured, what I chose to take pictures of, what those photos mean, everything is open for interpretation.
Looking at my photos, a lot of them included fences with plants growing through them, flowers, reflections, sunlight that cast shadows, the sun itself, & paths. I mentioned in a previous post how the symbolism of paths is most commonly about life.
My question was “How can I be more positive & optimistic in life in order to be a nicer person - to myself & others.”
The photos scrolling above are of all the photos I took while on my walk.
The photos below are the ones that stood out most to me, with the titles I gave them that I use to answer my question.
How can I be more positive & optimistic?
Look for the path that’s most lit, don’t let your insecurities hold you back, you can still succeed even when you fail, how you treat yourself & how you treat others are reflections of one another, be bright and unafraid of showing your true colors, and lastly - it’s okay to rest, your path is long & in order to complete it you should take care of yourself.
I would love to hear your interpretation! Leave a comment either here or on any social media platform!
Thanks for reading!
